How do I know if I need new tyres?
The tread is close to or below the legal minimum of 1.6mm
You can see cracks, bulges or cuts in the sidewall
The tyre is wearing unevenly
The car vibrates, pulls to one side or loses grip in the wet
If you are not sure, we are happy to take a look and tell you honestly whether they need replacing.
Why not leave worn tyres?
Worn tyres take longer to stop, particularly in the wet. Driving on tyres below the legal limit can also lead to a fine of up to £2,500 per tyre and penalty points. Replacing them in good time keeps you safe and legal.
